About The Role
This position is tasked with researching and defining the needed capabilities and features of the platform. while working closely with both the developers and analyst teams to achieve these objectives.
We are looking for a researcher who is looking to broaden their horizons and be a critical part of building a data-driven platform that can provide critical threat intelligence to our analysts.

Job Description:
Design and review product design, architecture, and implementation with security in mind
Review and analyze complex automotive systems - in-vehicle networks and components, embedded systems, and more
Review and analyze automotive communication protocols, security regulations, and standards
Work closely with the product, system, and development teams to ensure a secure design and implementation of our solutions.
Consult and work with industry players on various security projects
Perform security threat analysis and risk assessments, develop security concepts and security requirements for automotive systems and networks
Track and analyze cybersecurity trends, and emerging technologies
Research and create new methodologies for:
Attack surface analyses
Vulnerability discovery and assessment
Threat intelligence
Use cases development
Asset discovery
Be a source of security knowledge and expertise for the company
Required Skills and Experience:
5+ years of experience in the cybersecurity industry in research or system architecture roles.
Independent researcher and natural leader with ability to lead ongoing efforts to build capabilities and new features.
Expert knowledge of common operating systems, services, networking protocols, logging, attacker techniques and tools.
Writing tools (Python) to automate analysis functions.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and apply critical insights.
Experience in writing system requirement specifications
Experience with security threats and risk analysis

Nice To Have:
A strong understanding of the current threat landscape including the latest tactics, tools, and procedures, and effective techniques for investigating threats and detecting this malicious activity.
Previous automotive industry experience.
Previous experience working on security products.
Knowledge in data analysis AI/ML.
Prior operational experience leveraging threat intelligence to detect and respond to adversaries.
