SheeldS Cybersecurity is growing its real-time embedded development team and is seeking a talented ‘A’ Player Team-Lead to join and lead the team.

 

You will lead both seasoned & experienced embedded engineers as well as junior engineers as part of the team.

Nonetheless, you will be faced with various technological challenges, that will require out-of-the-box creative thinking, and you will need to educate your team on possible solutions.

 

To add another complexity to the mix, working in the automotive-cyber segment will require you to bring you’re A game when it comes to quality, documentation, and alignment with standards (just take a look at MISRA-C).

 

And most important, willingness to learn and grow and if you are up to it teach.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the embedded product development team (developers and QA)

• Mentor and coach team members in new technologies, tools, and methodologies – per arising needs

• Significant Hands-on capacity

• Produce quality code that meets the highest security, stability, and performance standards.

• Support product integration activities with customers.

• Work closely with system engineers to understand and implement system requirements.

• Work closely with the VP R&D, VP product and CTO.

• Team player in a cross-functional development team, in an Agile-oriented environment.

• Experience in Agile methodologies

Required skills and experience: 

• Education: BSc in Computer Science / SW engineering / equivalent military training.

• Experience: 5+ years in C++ programing, multiple coding languages are an advantage – C, Python using OOP.

• Previous experience with Embedded products.

• Strong customer-oriented and usability-oriented approach.

• Knowledge of Ethernet, 7 layers model and Networking protocols - advantage

• Proficient in English (oral & written).

• Experience in embedded Linux (User space) – advantage.

• Experience as team lead – advantage.

• Experience in automotive and/or cyber industry – advantage.
