We are looking for a brilliant, talented, and enthusiastic VP R&D to join us and utilize strong leadership and management skills to lead our R&D group.

Reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating with the executive team, you will define the R&D strategy and methodologies, optimize the work processes and efficiency, using agile methodologies.

A major responsibility of this position is leading the company's technology growth, develop the core infrastructure, recruit, build and retain the best talent and highly productive and efficient teams, while supporting employee development.

What You'll Do:

• End-to-End responsibility for the company's R&D vision, performance, and deliverables

• Manage the group's metrics and KPIs based on R&D and company’s objectives.

• Design solutions, evaluate architecture alternatives, set technical direction and quality standards as well as hands-on guidance.

• Engage in the process of building the company's roadmap, as a member of the company's leadership team

• Mentor, coach, recruit and retain key talent through effective mentorship, coaching and succession planning

• Develop and maintain an engineering culture focused on execution, quality, mentorship, and open feedback

• Leading and working in Agile environment

• Managing multiple, development projects from conception to completion, and ensuring quality outcomes

• Build a collaborative team environment and promote an inspirational, fun and culture within the organization

• Self-driven and self-motivated, can-do attitude

About you… :)

• 3+ years of experience as Director of R&D / Group Manager / VP R&D in a growing start-up company

• Experience delivering complex, large-scale B2B products

• Experience in managing Product-Development teams, including cloud-based, embedded & QA

• Experience in cloud based SAAS products, preferably also in embedded SW products

• A proven track record of success in the Cyber security/Automotive industry

• Strong leadership skills including day to day management, recruiting, building, coaching, providing guidance, and inspiring others

• Proven technical skills and self-learning ability, capable of thoroughly understanding the functional and technical aspects of a complex system

• Significant experience in the system’s current technologies - React - Frontend and NodeJS- Backend - Embedded Linux

• Excellent English and Hebrew, both verbal and written

• Highly motivated, self-driven, leads by example
